Woody has called Lakeland, FL home since 1964. A second generation Gospel singer, he has spent time as the drummer in his dad's group, the Christ Ambassadors Quartet. It was there that his dad, Woody Sr., began to teach him the basics about singing harmony parts and sometimes he would sing a couple of songs with the group. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he would sing in the church choir when his service to our Nation was complete. Woody has been privileged to sing tenor in several groups in the past, most notably the Floridians and Chapter III Trio. Now, since September of 2016, Woody is back for a second stint with Trust Quartet. He is singing tenor again and is happy the Lord has given him the ability to sing and hear different parts, and happier still to have the honor of using those gifts to spread the gospel.
