The month of October started much better than September! We were able to record the final vocals for our new album to be released soon. More details will be forthcoming about the release date, but to have it now in the hands of the producer for the mixing process sure feels good!
On Sunday morning the 15th, we were with the folks at Living Waters Church of God in Melbourne. If you've been following Trust Quartet very long at all, you will remember the name Gary Franklin. He sang tenor with the group from 2009-2011. Gary had to leave due to health reasons and Living Waters is the church he attends. He was responsible for allowing us to be there to sing, and we're so grateful to make some new friends in Melbourne! Gary even sang a couple of songs with us. He told Buzz the one condition Trust Quartet could be there was that he could sing Glory Road! Having Gary, Steve, Spence, and Buzz sing a couple of songs together again felt really good!
The following weekend, we were just outside Sebring with the Spring Lake Presbyterian Church. It was our second visit to be with these fine folks. The first time, we were singing at a fellowship breakfast. This time we were with them in their regular Sunday morning worship service. They made us feel right at home. In fact, I overheard one of the members describing why they attended this church, and the primary reason was the good fellowship among the members. We truly saw that in the brief time we were with them.
The church also celebrated Pastor Appreciation Sunday, so we were able to take advantage of a fellowship time, complete with cake and cookies following the service.
The final weekend of October was spent in Crewsville, FL at the Crewsville Bethel Baptist Church for their annual Homecoming Day. Whenever we told people we were going to Crewsville, we generally got puzzled looks because most folks don't know where it is on the map. Crewsville is a community nestled between Zolfo Springs and Sebring. In addition to their Homecoming festivities, they also honored their pastor with gifts for Pastor Appreciation Day as well. Trust Quartet made some new friends and look forward to the opportunity to be back with the Crewsville Bethel Baptist Church again!
As always, Trust Quartet is grateful for the prayerful support of our family and friends. We do not take lightly God's protection and provision while we do what we feel He has called us to do. Thank you for the huge role you play in helping us fulfill God's plan!
