Trust Quartet returned to the studio to begin recording its 12th album in August. The group converged on Shelton Sound Studio in Dade City for three days to begin the process of recording a yet to be named album. The project will include ten songs ~ some re-releases from earlier Trust albums, while others are brand new to the group.
Both Buzz Beasley, Trust Quartet manager, and George Shelton, studio engineer / producer, are optimistic of a successful project that friends of Trust Quartet will be pleased with.
News of the completion of the recording phase of the album and its release will be shared as it happens. We covet your prayers during the next phase of the project!
It was just another marathon rehearsal, Spence said. A long afternoon ~ into the evening ~ of singing, Spence said. But Buzz, Beverly, Woody, Karen, Steve, and even Jeff and Rhonda had other ideas!
Spence celebrated his birthday on Sunday, August 13 (we'll let him comment below his age, if he wants), and on Saturday, the Trust Family was together for a long rehearsal.
Pizza split the singing time, and a birthday cake and ice cream helped make a festive atmosphere. Spence has been singing with Trust Quartet 15 years now and seems to get younger instead of getting older! He brings an unparalleled energy to the group and we are all so very glad to celebrate with him!
