Due to illness in the quartet family, the concerts at the Baptist Church in Buckhead Ridge and First Baptist, Zolfo Springs are having to be postponed. Please keep Beverly in your prayers as she recovers from some illness this week. The doctors have advised her to shut down and get rest, so that's what Buzz is making sure she does.
Please be watching for any rescheduling updates as they become available.
The month of February was a busy one for Trust Quartet. We began the month with the folks at the Christian Brethren Church in Basinger. The fine folks at this church have hosted Buzz Beasley for many, many years. His first group, the Believer's Four, sang their first concert outside their home church at this church in Basinger. That's been more than 35 years ago! They always treat Trust Quartet like royalty, and we're grateful for our friendships there.
The following week, we were in Immakolee with our good friends at the First United Methodist Church. This is another church with a long-standing history of hosting Trust Quartet and they have been faithful to support us in our ministry. It was good to enjoy a fellowship meal at a local restaurant with some of the membership after the concert!
The weekend of the 16th through 18th was really our busy weekend. We were at the Red Barn in Clewiston for our annual concert there on Friday night, 16. More than 170 people came from all across the cane fields and filled the Barn, and let us just say, we had church! Bill and Judy Swindle host us each year at the Barn, and it is honestly an annual highlight for Trust.
On Saturday night, 17, we were in Arcadia at Craig's RV Park. This is another spot we enjoy visiting and the residents are so kind and receive us so well. We are already looking forward to being back with them next year!
On Sunday morning, 18, we were back with the Sun Ray United Methodist Church just outside Frostproof. We were just with them this past Father's Day ~ the first concert with the current Trust Quartet, Woody, Steve, Spence, and Buzz ~ but that was kind of a last minute pastoral fill in. After that Sunday, we all determined we needed to go back when our northern friends were in town. We did, and it was so good to meet some new friends this time around.
Due to some illness, our last weekend of February concerts were postponed. Keep watching for them to be rescheduled. Our thanks to all those who have made it possible for Trust Quartet to continue doing what we love to do ~ share Jesus through music. Until next time, keep on singin'!!
